Lori teaches a flow Yoga integrating alignment with intuition, strength, flexibility and the breath.
Alignment comes in many forms. When the physical foundation is well-grounded and the inner and outer bodies are in alignment, balance occurs initiating a harmonious flow and ease to the body, mind and breath. Learn how working deeply in the basic poses can make a dynamic flow practice and challenging postures more accessible and less frightening.
Lori will take you through a pulsating asana practice using powerful Universal Principles of Alignment greatly inspired by the tradition of Anusara and Vinyasa Flow Yoga.
Precision and Flow Yoga 1/2
This class is an opportunity for all levels to develop a deeper understanding of the postures, experiencing the fundamentals of all poses during the practice The student can enjoy the opportunity to flow gently and slowly through the ‘asanas’ (postures) ‘linking the breath with the movement’. A soft yet dynamic and flowing practice suitable for all levels. The class is designed so that all levels may experience the pose either in a more challenging form or for the novice practitioner, a more softer approach. Variations are taught within the class.
Precision and Flow Yoga 2/3
A more challenging ‘Flowing Asana Practice’ linking the breath with a creative mix of sequenced postures yet focusing intently on precision of alignment and transition. A chance to experience more advanced poses. Intermediate and advanced level.
3 ½ Hour Intensive Workshops
Through this practice of asanas, breathwork, Yoga Nidra & Meditation, take this opportunity to really deepen your yoga practice and here is where we begin to discover a connection between our inner world and our experiences of the world around us. We will explore more profoundly & energetically the foundation and of the poses so that we can fully enjoy the power of alignment, lightness and freedom in standing poses, inversions, backbends and deep hip openers and forward bends incorporating Vinyasa Flow. An opportunity to deepen your knowledge of yoga philosophy, pranayama, meditation etc. A complete yoga experience. Held every 4-6 weeks.
